You've got questions, we've got answers. The Foxhole Discord is where the community lives. Foxhole is a game about teamwork, so to really enjoy the game, you'll need to work with the rest of your team. Foxhole is a lonely game for those just playing by themselves, so try and find some like-minded friends on any of our platforms like the reddit or steam forums.
If you're new to the game, continue reading here for more information on how to get started!
Stuck in Queue?
First things first, because of the summer sale you may encounter a queue to get into the game. We'll be monitoring these closely to make sure they don't get too out of hand, but if you find yourself waiting for a long period of time give us a ping on the discord, then try to be patient. Our game is still growing and we have been building the world out as fast as we can to keep up, but sometimes we hit some player spikes that surpass even our greatest expectations.
For Returning Veteran Players
A lot has changed in this most recent patch. If you're just looking for a quick tutorial to get you up-to-speed with the mechanics that have most recently changed, you can check out the Update 26: Crash Course. Or for a more complete rundown of the changes you can check out I Saw A Bear's Video, or check the Patch Notes.
How do I play the game?
There isn't a comprehensive tutorial. Our game changes so rapidly that by the time we got one fully developed it would be outdated. Instead we rely heavily on our supportive community to get people trained up. Any question at all you can ask on our discord, or ping @Loxen#8288 or me @KrazyFlyinChicken#0001.
If you don't feel like talking to anyone, you can always check out our community wiki which is being updated by members of our community. Even if you are already a veteran of the game, this is super useful with information and maps and anything else you might need.
If you want a more in-depth look at all the changes coming in Update 26 you need to check out I Saw A Bear's update series. This is as close to a video tutorial as you're going to find in the game, right now. He's got videos for every update the game has ever had.
You can find all of our past devstreams on our youtube channel. Here we answer questions from the community, reveal plans for the future, and cover community-related artwork. You can even ask us questions in the comments of these videos and we'll do our best to answer. Here you can also find our Spotlight Video for the latest update. And here's a really great up-to-date Tutorial series!
