Update 24 Dev Branch Released

Dev Branch is an experimental build that contains bugs and unfinished features. Please read the TESTING NOTES below to get a feel for things in the build that are known to be missing OR broken.

How to get the build

  • Go to the BETAS tab on the Foxhole Steam Properties window and select "devbranch -".

  • Select the LOCAL FILES tab and click "Verify Integrity of game files...".

  • On the "Join War" screen, select "DevBranch" from the drop down at the top left corner of the screen


  • Please post any bug reports or feedback to the #development-branch channel on Discord. Do not report bugs that are already known issues. Release notes will be updated as new builds are applied to the branch. Thank you!

  • Due to the scope of changes across the maps, all map bugs should be submitted to this form

Release Notes

New Content

■ New Relic Vehicle: Transport Bus

○ A transport vehicle used to shuttle personnel to the front line

○ Holds 12 players in total

■ New Item: Gas Mask Filter

When attached to a Gas Mask, this filter provides fresh air to the wearer

○ Is required for Gas Mask to prevent damage from Green Ash

○ Absorbs a certain amount of gas damage before expiring

■ New Structure: AT Pillbox (repurposed from Sunken Pillbox)

An automatically retracting anti-armour turret, resistant to damage when not engaging an enemy

○ Fires AT Rifle and only attacks vehicles

○ Is earlier in the Tech Tree now and costs Basic Materials instead of Refined Materials

○ Health increased by 15%

Gameplay Changes and Features ■ Certain Relic Vehicle types do not spawn until a certain point has been reached in the Tech Tree by both factions

○ This prevents the scenario where certain vehicles are available when proper counters aren't unlocked yet

■ AT mines have been added back to the game

○ Mines are visible to

• Infantry on foot

• Infantry and vehicles when placed on roads • Friendlies

○ Mines deactivate after 48h

Game Balance

■ Westgate Keep starts built

■ All Forward Bases health is increased by 15%

■ Wooden Pillbox increased HP by 20%

■ Concrete Pillbox increased HP by 20%

■ Wooden and Concrete Pillbox fire ramp up time decreased from 4 to 2.5 seconds

■ Foxhole health increased by 10%

■ AT Rifle range increase by 15%

■ Field Machine Gun health increased 25%

■ Half-Track damage increased by 20%

■ Gunboat forward turret damage increased by 50%

■ Armoured Car speed increased by 25%

■ Sticky Bomb Explosive Material cost reduced from 70 to 50

■ Sticky Bomb throw range increased by 20%

■ Landing APC water speed reduced by 15%

■ Radio Backpack detection radius increased by 50%

■ Smoke Grenades are now produced under the Small Arms Facility instead of the Heavy Arms Facility

■ Relic Vehicle Spawn rate significantly reduced

Other Changes

■ RPG aim indicator has been improved and properly shows the range limit

■ Stockpile sorting can now be toggled on/off in the UI

■ Grass visuals have been overhauled ■ Barbed wire model has been updated ■ Bridge asset overhauled ■ Improved animations for equipping and shooting Rifle-like weapons
