Foxhole 0.0.28 Release Notes



We will be rolling out the update to servers in stages in the next 24 hours. Servers that have not been updated yet will appear greyed out in the server browser. During the rollout period, you can still access the 0.0.27 client by switching to the "0.0.27" branch on Steam via the "Betas" properties tab.​

New Content

  • New Item: Sticky Bomb

  • A high yield explosive with a short fuse that can be attached to any surface

  • Hold LMB to light fuse and release to plant

  • New World Structure: Firing Range

  • Hit a target and receive damage information!

  • Located in the Deadlands, Upper Heartlands, and Endless Shore

Gameplay Features & Changes

  • Medical Lab, Workshop, Weapon Factory, Vehicle Factory, Supply Station are now destructible

  • Oil Refinery structure has been removed

  • Fuel is now gathered from nodes away from towns

  • Starter Town Halls now contain 400 fuel

  • Stockpiles now accept Basic Materials, Refined Materials, Fuel, and Civic Materials

Game Balance

  • Using the Sledge Hammer gives additional XP (over the default Hammer)

  • Vehicle Factory Tech Level 2 & 3 each require 50 additional Tech Parts

Other Changes

  • Server join queue

  • When joining a full sever, players will now enter a queue to join

  • Workshop, Supply Station, and Manufacturing Plant have brand new assets

  • Server name now displayed on Map screen

  • Server optimizations

Major Bug Fixes

  • Fixed bug that causes occasional connection drop outs during gameplay

  • Fixed exploit that allowed players to enter vehicles while encumbered

  • Fixed issue that causes players to get stuck when spawning at Town Halls

  • XP is now received when picking up orders

  • Structures no longer appear to be at full health after erecting / collapsing an upgraded wall build site

  • Cursor no longer uses the incorrect graphic when being killed with the Callouts screen up

  • Weapons no longer deal full damage when firing at extreme range
